Elijah Technologies, Ltd., a firm specializing in computer forensic investigations, electronic discovery and litigation support services, is pleased to announce that Professor Derek Witte has joined Elijah as an E-Discovery Consultant. Professor Witte joined Thomas M. Cooley Law School as an Assistant Professor of Law in 2008, and prior to that time practiced in litigation at Miller Johnson in Grand Rapids and Jenner & Block in Chicago.
“Professor Witte has an outstanding depth and breadth of knowledge regarding electronic discovery issues, having worked on such matters at two of our country’s finest law firms,” said company president Andrew Reisman. “I could not be more pleased that he is passing on his knowledge to the next generation of lawyers and taking the time to assist our clients in appropriate electronic discovery engagements.” Professor Witte among other publications is a co-author of E-Discovery and the New Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, published in the March 2007 issue of the Michigan Bar Journal. Professior Witte will serve as an E-Discovery Consultant at Elijah while maintaining his full-time faculty position at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
